I study how people move through the labor market, with a focus on workplace networks and the role of peers in employment decisions.
My research brings together labor economics and applied econometrics.

How do former coworkers shape workers’ next moves? Using matched employer-employee data, I study how workplace networks influence job changes, wages, and worker-firm sorting.

I am an economist consultant at the Asian Development Bank, with previous experience at the World Bank, Fitch Ratings, Portugal’s Treasury and Debt Management Agency, and the International Monetary Fund.
My policy work includes intergenerational policy evaluation at Nova SBE’s Economics for Policy Knowledge Center. I also teach economics and econometrics at undergraduate and graduate level.
Alongside my PhD at Nova SBE, my training includes a BA in Economics from Columbia University, an MIT MicroMasters in Data, Economics and Development Policy, and a Harvard Professional Certificate in Data Science.
